Member of Peace and Justice Commission of the Catholic Church Buffalo Member and previous Board Member of the Western New York Peace Center National Consultant to Catholic Bishops on Refugees and Migrants in the US. President of the Toxic Waste Lupus Coalition. This is a University Community Partnership which addresses issues of health with African American communities which are affected by toxic dump sites in Buffalo. Rural Migrant Ministries, New York State. I collaborate extensively with several individual groups and organizations who focus on improving the quality of life of underserved communities in Buffalo and Western New York. This includes working for the National Arts Council of Western New York. Linkages extend to the southern states of Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi where I work extensively in coaching individuals and commiunity groups in navigating relationships with institutions such as universities and government people. As a previous scholar from Tulane University, Newcomb College Center for research on Women, I am now revisiting some work done 17 years ago on building bridges and cross culture collaborations. This work focuses on writings relating to completed projects in Belize of communiity banking, health and wellness, environment and oral history outreach.
