In 2004 I retired from the University of Georgia with 32 years of experience working in the field of Environmental Education. I have now started my own pottery business. I do wheel thrown pieces as well as hand built works. All of the pottery that I make is fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln. It is food, microwave and oven safe. The name of my business is Maid of Clay Pottery. My work is in several galleries. I sell my pieces at juried art festivals and I also take orders.
