Biography

Nadine Coudret retired as Dean of the College of Nursing and Health professions in the summer of 2012 as Dean Emerita of the University of Southern Indiana College of Nursing and Health Professions and Professor of Nursing, Emerita. Dr. Coudret joined the University of Southern Indiana as the founding dean in 1988 and served in this position for 24 years. The college under her leadership grew to 13 nursing and health professions programs offering certificates, associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. Since retiring, she teaches graduate nursing courses and consults on program evaluation and health care delivery. She currently serves as an evaluation site-visitor team leader for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing and on the national accreditation review committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors of St. Vincent Health System in Evansville. Her research interests include nursing education and life style and health practices. Her work has been published in a variety of professional journals and presented at professional conferences.
