Based in Washington, DC, Carolina A. Cardona represents the Inter-American Foundation (IAF) in Haiti and Honduras. Prior to joining the IAF in 2014, Carolina worked internationally from 1997-2013. Previous positions include working for the Peace Corps in Togo, Benin, Uzbekistan, and Honduras. She also taught 5th grade in El Salvador and worked for the International Refugee Committee (IRC) in Azerbaijan. Domestically, Carolina worked for six years with migrant farm workers in North Carolina. She has an MPH from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Carolina speaks English, Spanish, and French and is studying Haitian Creole.
