Kellogg Fellows Support More Equitable World
A National Day of Racial Healing (#NDORH) is being celebrated by communities throughout the United States on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 — the day following Martin Luther King Day. Activists, educators and organizations are calling for racial healing and taking collective action to create a more just and equitable world.
NDORH is part of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) effort. This is a national and community-based process to encourage transformational and sustainable change, as well as address historic and contemporary effects of racism.
“Kellogg Fellows and others recognize that racial divisions in the United States and around the world must be overcome and healed,” says Martha Lee, (KNFP-15), Executive Director, Kellogg Fellows Leadership Alliance. “These NDORH events encourage important conversations and collaboration, which honor our common humanity and create space to celebrate the distinct differences that make our communities vibrant.”
Here are just a few highlights of the work Fellows are doing.
